I learned things that I've been struggling with so I tried to make a tutorial, and I thought I could make it cleaner than how I did it the first time, but ended up with broken animations. WHELP. I'll try tomorrow I guess. Or when I can afford that new rig I've been eyeing.

I am really looking forward to Black Friday to see what's on sale on the Unreal Marketplace. Ever since they increased the amount you can wishlist, I have so many things to buy.

TBH this is why I'm looking forward to making tutorials. Because I want to make learning material that is easier for people like me to understand concepts. Although hopefully people learn from other places too, otherwise they may have similar struggles with jargon.

I'm sure I'm not the only auDHD dev. One thing that makes developing a game difficult is when asking for help, people give me very technical explanations. I'm VERY bad with tech jargon, even in fields I've worked in. I apparently think about things very differently than others.

When I make my DevLogs, I don't want to be on camera but I don't want to be faceless either, so I decided to make this little guy as my avatar. Made a bunch of emotions as well. Not sure if I'll go straight PNGTuber with it, or record and edit matching emotions into it.

I'm gonna set up some level stuff to show off the little bit I've started with. So far I have my character set up with dynamic movement. Autojumping on and off platforms and over small objects. Rolling and crouching, but I want to switch out the animations. Maybe a devlog soon?

Sorry I've been awol for a bit. My game dev studies took a back seat for a bit but I'm back at it, and I think I'll be switching back to Unreal. I'm a lot better at it. I'm hoping to make some tutorials and such as I go, since it doesn't have as resourceful a community as Unity.
