If you just keep grinding there is no chance of 'Losing' Those who lose are the ones who quit.
A lot of editors should UNDERSTAND first what is editing. Its not about how good motion graphics can you make for example. Editing is about keeping the viewer interested until the very last second of the video.
School is a lie imo. like I went in today after a 3 month break and they're teaching how to calculate the area of a cube. like WHAT? so much bullshit. And we repeat the same things every year. I genuinely haven't learned anything in school that would be useful for my future.…
Most editors don’t quit because they hate editing. They quit because: – They don’t have a niche – They struggle to find clients – They never learn the business side Being good at editing isn’t enough. You’ve got to be good at getting work too.
