I would love for your #Fridayread to be one of my debut picture books. Based on me and my daughters' own experience with loss, I Want to Hug Mummy and It's Okay to Feel Happy was written to help my children and others deal with #grief. I hope it helps even one child!

Children's mental health is a cause I stand behind. There is more focus on it, but we still need to go deeper to really help kids express their emotions and learn the subject of bereavement is not taboo. We need to start a conversation and keep it going. Would you agree?

My picture books are so personal - I wrote them to help the #grieving process of my daughters for their mum, and to help other children. I hope children can relate to these books in a way they can't relate to many others. If even one does, that will be enough for me. #grief
