My favorite activity to add to a Nearpod lesson is Time to Climb! The class erupts in a cheer when they see the slide in a lesson! It is a fun way to assess student learning and we all love the seasonal themes when they appear! @ITSCCSD @nearpod #ccsdConnectED24

A beneficial Adobe accessibility feature for my students is the “Read out Loud” feature. When you open a PDF document in Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can activate the "Read Out Loud" feature to enable text-to-speech technology. @ITSCCSD #ccsdConnectED24 #AdobeforAll

A book that has impacted my professional practice is Bold School by Weston Kieschnick. I first read it five years ago and I keep going back to it! His book encouraged me to take risks by trying new approaches and experimenting with innovative ideas. @ITSCCSD #ccsdConnectED24

Dictation mode is Apple iPad’s Accessibility feature my students use the most. When you are in dictation mode and need to spell out a word, say “Spelling mode” and switch back by saying “dictation mode”! It gets my reluctant writers engaged! @ITSCCSD @AppleEDU #ccsdConnectED24
