Ive come to realize I hate TPOT. Came for AI and rationality and am honestly just disgusted most of the time. Going back to a feed of nothing but beautiful illustrations and animations

The more I think about it the more I start to think monarchy is a better form of government. (To a degree) Lifetime rulership and it being your own people means you really are incentivised to do your best. Raised for the role, and a familial system to help balance

My gf is very against AI but a very curious person, she Googles things constantly. For instance we went down a rabbit hole of what the root drome is, then syndrome, then why downs syndrome is a syndrome. But Google sucks, showed her perplexity and she sees the appeal

(or at least this was true before TV and social media—TV scratches part of the itch for people whose main interest is socializing, and social media/video scratches it even more, so we're doing a radical experiment in letting people get this nutrient without IRL interaction)
