AI was good when it was instant. This new "thinking mode" stuff seems like bloat in the wrong direction. Half the time it seems to just get stuck and I've wasted time watching it "think" when I could have just researched the question myself.

if you're a junior coder it has _never_ been easier to level up. LLMs will answer any programming question and won't ever mock you or tell you to RTFM, or ignore your question for weeks on end. i wasted years of my life on stackoverflow, forums, google, etc.
