Matters are moving along exactly as I wish them to... especially now that a certain Avengers team has been formed!
Managing the vast expanse of time has become so much easier since @_The_Conqueror_'s timely demise.
Christmas this year was most pleasant. I know, for I enjoyed it last week. Next year's, however, will be decidedly less so...
Important events are about to take place... and with their passing, my plans will begin to bear fruit at last...
Time is a garden, and I am its caretaker. It's my responsibility to trim the hedges at times... even when I might wish to do otherwise.
I sense that the Avengers are entering a new time of peril. But for the moment, at least, those I am concerned with are safe.
=Alone within his citadel once more, the Master of Limbo falls into silent thought... and considers what will, and must, happen next...=
=Sits upon his throne in the heart of Limbo, staring into a glowing sphere which depicts the Avengers' activities on Earth... and smiles=
=Remains standing in place as he awaits the return of @RealSwordsMan and @CBHawkeye, an enigmatic smile upon his lips...=
=His face grim= For I assure you, Avengers... either /we/ deal with this temporal anomaly... or the universe will implode to do so itself!
An intrusion... I might remind you... that threatens to engulf the entire universe in destruction if it is not set to rights!
Thus @RealSwordsMan... however unwittingly... is a factor which stresses the fabric of time as it struggles to cope with his intrusion.
Though the events I speak of are long past, the essence of time itself depends upon /all/ aspects of it remaining as they were meant to be!
A purpose so pure... so inescapable... that even /I/ was unable to oppose it!
It was thus with great purpose that fate itself decreed that @RealSwordsMan die that day, Avengers.
...and through that mating, a being of great power and importance... the Celestial Messiah... has come forth!
By dying on that fateful day, @RealSwordsMan paved the way for the Celestial Madonna to eventually meet and accept her destined mate...
For, unbeknownst to any of you... or even myself, at the time... @RealSwordsMan's death was mandatory even then!
I, too, was present at @RealSwordsMan's death... in a manner of speaking... and my knowledge of it far exceeds even his!
