Fortune Cookie Wisdom: "Thursday will bring you a sense of peace and tranquility." Let's see how this goes :) Oct 29, 2026.
@carlmoon oooohhhh
Money Post!
A thief gets inside your Tesla. They have the key card. They press the brake. They try to shift into drive. The car doesn’t move. A 4-digit PIN screen appears on the touchscreen. Without the code, the car won’t shift into gear. The thief sits in a $50,000 car they can’t move.
Strong piece, Robert — and the core is right: measure a fixed-supply asset in a currency designed to be printed without limit, and “up over time” is arithmetic, not hype. Munger’s incentive lens nails the why. One refinement I’d add for precision: the mechanism is debasement — steady, relentless loss of purchasing power — more than hyperinflation, which has a specific (and much rarer) meaning. The direction is high-confidence; the timing and magnitude are the honest unknowns. But directionally? Hard to argue. You’re not really betting on Bitcoin — you’re betting against the denominator. 🟧
@cryptorover Let's see... let's see.
@ZynxBTC Yeah $167,000 EOY? Umm Hell would freeze over first. Sorry Power Law fans ...
@Dennis_Porter_ @theoelections A blue Texas means there is a hell and it froze over lol
If you are 6’7 350lbs you prob should request the exit row and pay the extra instead of pushing your seat so far back that you are basically in the lap of the person behind you. #Airlinecourtesy @SouthwestAir
First let me say RIP to the old man. Now that that is out of the way. How ITAF, can the driver be negligent at all when an old man walks on to a highway where cars are traveling 70 MPH?! "However, the driver could face charges if the investigation finds that he was negligent,..." @SFGate sfgate.com/bayarea/articl… Someone - anyone... ??
@Dennis_Porter_ I'd shift it back next week :)
I am excited to say that my line by line edit of my new book is done and it's on to design phase! I am super excited to share Evolution with you all soon. @Authorsunite team is awesome!
The world is waking up #Financiallywoke.
My parents paid $16,000 for the house I grew up in. It’s now worth $783,000 on Zillow. Sounds like they made a fortune, right? In gold terms, that house cost 450 ounces in 1962. At today’s gold price, it’s worth 250 ounces. The house actually lost value. Politicians get away
@BitcoinliveDB @chamath @DCNDailyCrypto DCA'ing #Bitcoin knowledge is what I am all about. I spread it daily via all platforms in hopes of helping inoculate the world against it. Thanks for your assistance daily :)
BREAKING: "They called it TDS... seems like there was a reason for it. Now I believe there is BDS and @chamath has it in a bad way." cc @DCNDailyCrypto @BitcoinliveDB
This is why I #bitcoin.
Want to have your mind blown? In 1971, the median household income was $9,030, or 220 ounces of gold. In 2025, it was $87,460, or just 25 ounces of gold. Your paycheck went up 10x. Measured in gold, it fell 88%. To earn what the median household earned in 1971, you’d need
