I think "burden on public purse" is the least of the worries. The British government is actively importing the militancy, insurgency expertise, and extremist ideology of some of the most wartorn regions of the world. It should be so obvious that this has and will cause chaos.

Everything about this is so Americanised. From copying Trump's hats to his "Drill, baby, drill" slogan to the fact that YIMBY contains "back yard" when Brits say "backgarden." If Labour are so eager for a 'win', they should do the opposite & call out 'Americanisers' like Jenkins.

My primary school had an old extensive library that had been added to greatly over decades, but then they did an extension, and it was converted into a new reception, and they had no room for the books. It's a great shame since older books are often better.
