moved all the styles from my individual pages to one styles file and then import what I need. this is much better. working on a layout file that can be shared between other files. just trying to complete one thing, then the next.

added a not found page to my routes. also added a navbar, but need to implement it across all my pages. also working on moving all my styles into one styles file and import what I need. will make the pages cleaner.

got the landing, login and signup pages working with react router to go to the correct pages. also, checked my color choices to see if the contrast is the correct ratio. after a few changes, it is good to go. next up working on the main feed page.

got the landing page setup, I can now link to the signup page, but need to finish building it out. still working on some of the styling, but it is coming along. made some more progress so I am happy with that. It can be frustrating building an app, but I am having fun.

worked on using createMuitheme to provide the base styles for my app. I really like it. also used react router to switch from the landing page to the login or signup page. going to get this all complete before moving on the main part of the app. making progress.

worked with graphql some more, learned how to create a server side error if a field is not filled out.

learning some more about graphql to add this functionality to my new app. ui creation is going well, just needed to take a step back and organize my thoughts some more. I just love doing this though. It is so much fun to learn all this cool stuff.

made a reusable form component for my login page and signup page. also finished styling (for now) both those pages. learned about the mui theme in material ui, so I could use a different font. still working on look of the after login page. learning a little everyday.

worked on my login page and also created a sign up page. will continue styling these tomorrow. next up is the add new item page after sign in. I will continue to work on the app design before adding any functionality though. I am still loving material ui. it is very nice.

got my login page to work how I want it, finally figured out how material ui grid works. I get it now. It is so much to take in, but I really like it. will do more styling tomorrow. need to add in some color to the form.

worked on using the grid component in material ui with the different breakpoints. took me a bit to figure it out, but I got it to transition nicely. and also used the very cool hidden component. whoever thought of that, you need a raise.

started the login page for my app and figured out how to create a form with the textField component. also used Paper which is really cool to create some box shadow effects. I am a fan of material ui, but it will take awhile to get used to it. @MaterialUI

working on graphql some more and going to try using material ui for my next react project. having fun with it so far. I am going to try and draw out all of my designs for the next app. not going to wing it like the todo app.

success, I completed the transition over to useContext and useReducer. all features are working and also corrected the bug where the todo does not have a line through it on checking complete. now on to working with graphql. my next challenge. #100DaysOfCode

got the update todo working, so add, delete and update are working, now working on the complete todo. it is amazing what you learn by reworking your app from redux to useReducer. ability to solve bugs has definitely improved. #100DaysOfCode

started the process of using useContext and useReducer instead of Redux and I have the add todo and search todos working. changing this was more of a task than I imagined, but I learned so much. will continue work tomorrow. good day though. #100DaysOfCode
