After many years of being in this market you realise when the market enters a sideways movement like it is now, you need to get comfortable with boring returns for a while. Sideways markets are frustrating but they can last longer than your patience The winners will be those who understand that markets are cyclical, not linear. The overarching story in Indian stock markets has been large selling by foreign investors Since September 2024 till July 2025, foreign investors have sold ~USD 23 billion of Indian public equities the most obvious reason i can think of for selling Indian markets is high valuations Indian market trading at over 20X forward and the lack of growth in earnings cant justify these valuations In Akash Prakash's note last week he stated that foreign ownership of Indian equities is now at a 15 year low India is now a consensus sell with regional, global and emerging market funds all underweight So the best case outcome for us now is that this market stays flat or sideways until earnings pick up high valuations + slow growth = sideways market The best thing to do in a sideways market is to get that shopping basket ready Identify companies who have good promoters, attractive valuations relatively , in a growing industry and steady return ratios because when the tide turns whichever way it does , there wont be time then thoughts ?
What if I told you that Jane Street made ₹36,500 crores from Indian markets in just 2 years, and ₹4,800 crores of that was allegedly through market manipulation? They turned India's stock market into their personal ATM using a strategy so clever. Here's the complete details 🧵

Horrible airfibre service by @reliancejio @JioCare. It's been 3 days wifi is not working and no one is fixing the issue - everytime they give their standard response that the backend team is working on it. Worst service #jio #AirFibre

Understand: you are one of a kind. Your character traits are a kind of chemical mix that will never be repeated in history. There are ideas unique to you, a specific rhythm and perspective that are your strengths, not your weaknesses. You must not be afraid of your uniqueness
