I think teaching is the only job you have to work, before you get to work, so you have work to do at work. Then because I had no time at work to do work, I have to work after work to catch up on the work I didn’t do while at work.

When I first heard children were coming back I didn’t see the point for just 3 weeks. Now I’m SO glad it is 3 weeks rather than a whole half term - the kids are exhausted and need to be eased in🤷🏻‍♀️

Anybody who thinks teachers aren't working... I started at my computer at 8.30 this morning, didn't get break or lunch, 15 minutes for dinner, then started parents' evening at 4.30 which will run until 8.30. 12 hours in front of a screen... only to be insulted in the press daily.
