What annoys me most about school funding is that despite 9 out of 10 schools are facing a deficit this year, all we hear is that funding is at a record high and schools have more money than ever. That 👏 Means 👏 Nothing👏 If 👏 It 👏 Is 👏 Still 👏 Not 👏 Enough 👏

Had an order of glue sticks, handwriting pens, pencils and coloured pencils today - felt like Christmas had come early! My class were very excited about having new glue after our old ones ran out pretty much immediately 😂

At The King's request, the wreath contains foliage of Rosemary, English Oak and Myrtle (cut from a plant grown from Myrtle in The Queen's wedding bouquet) and flowers, in shades of gold, pink and deep burgundy, with touches of white, cut from the gardens of Royal Residences.

On Friday we wrote poems/messages about/to Queen Elisabeth II to celebrate her life. The class loved this activity and here's just a couple of lovely examples! Not bad considering they've all said they've done no writing over the summer holidays 😂

The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.
