Hi everyone I have secured an interview in a middle school and have been asked to teach a 40 minute lesson on calculating and measuring the perimeter of 2D shapes. I’m panicking as I cannot for the life of me think of anything WOW or engaging. Any ideas? @MrTs_NQTs

Today started so lovely in Year 5 with our elf on the shelf however ended up being possibly the worst and most traumatic day I’ve ever had as a teacher 😢 However I’m lucky to be surrounded by such supportive colleagues. Tomorrow is a new day 🌈 #ect #year5 #edutwitter

#edutwitter @MrTs_NQTs For an interview I’ve got to plan a 20min discussion/debate on ‘What are we doing to our oceans?’ to a mixed Year 5/6 class. Due to a bubble closure this will have to be via Teams now! I’m clueless atm, any suggestions would be hugely appreciated 😄 #ect

#edutwitter @MrTs_NQTs Help! About to apply for a vacancy .. however the school has 3 separate advertised vacancies - 1 permanent, 1 fixed term and 1 maternity cover (all for Key Stage 2). Is it best to apply for all 3 or just 1?

#edutwitter A job I am applying for requests a separate letter to address the criteria in the job description and the application form requests a supporting statement. Does this mean I shouldn’t be addressing the criteria in my supporting statement? @MrTs_NQTs
