While I'm thrilled about the growing awareness about Psychotherapy among Nigerians, it is important to note that making therapy accessible shouldn't be at the expense of Clinical Psychologists. You cannot pay peanuts and expect the best care.

One of the things I am happy about with raising my kids is seeing them observe how much I love cooking and how it is NOT the role of any gender. My son observes and asks questions. “Dad, why does it say Okra on the packaging and you call it ”Okro”?” Me: That is Nigerianese 😂

Here’s my problem with therapy platforms that sell to employers: Platforms get paid well, therapists get paid poorly, employees don’t use it, and employers get to check a box. We need better solutions that prioritize care over profits.
