Offshore winds blow in a direction away from the shore, out to sea. Paddling against an offshore wind can be incredibly tiring and leave you exhausted. Be extra cautious and stay on the shore. If someone's in trouble, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

Cold water shock causes involuntary bodily reflexes, making it difficult for even experienced swimmers to exit the water. If you enter the water unexpectedly, remember the advice from the @RNLI and Float to Live. If somebody is in trouble, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard

Good morning a chance of shower later and especially tomorrow but a very mild mostly dry weekend ahead with some sun. No frost likely tonight or the weekend. Cooler next week. But certainly no beast from the east temperatures recover again next weekend.
