007 FIRST LIGHT QUALITY MODE AT 60 FPS ON BASE PS5. IT'S TIME TO ASK SOME SERIOUS QUESTIONS. Please take a few minutes to read this post. Watch the attached video. And most importantly, think about what it means for the future of gaming. Today, I'm officially introducing my 007 First Light Quality Mode 60 FPS Patch, running on a standard PS5. Not a PS5 Pro. Not Performance Mode. QUALITY MODE. 60 FPS. BASE PS5. After countless hours of reverse engineering, technical investigation and testing, I've achieved something that raises serious questions about the restrictions imposed on the hardware we already own. During my analysis, I discovered that Quality Mode is artificially limited to 30 FPS through software. I managed to overcome that restriction, and my tests confirmed the results shown in the attached gameplay video. And that's where the real discussion begins. SONY, WHO ARE THESE LIMITATIONS REALLY FOR? We're constantly told that better performance requires better hardware. Want higher framerates while preserving visual quality? Buy a PS5 Pro. Spend around €700. But what happens when an independent developer demonstrates that a regular PS5 can go beyond an enforced software limit? Sony's ecosystem allows framerates to be artificially controlled. My work demonstrates why those restrictions deserve scrutiny. I prove Sony imposed this particular limit to sell more PS5 Pro consoles. But I absolutely question a system where the company selling you an upgrade also controls so much of what your existing hardware is allowed to deliver. Think about that. They sell you the problem. Then they sell you the solution. They convince you that what you already own isn't enough. And when you're ready to spend more money, there's always another product waiting for you. YOU THINK YOU'RE BUYING THE PRODUCT. BUT IN REALITY, YOU ARE THE PRODUCT. AND REMEMBER WHAT WE DID WITH WOLVERINE? This isn't where our ambition ends. We've already explored pushing the limits with our Wolverine 120 FPS work. And that raises an even bigger question. What if 120 FPS could become achievable in more games that currently restrict players to much lower framerates? Imagine what we could discover if we stopped treating every software-imposed limit as an absolute hardware limitation. Of course, not every game can be guaranteed to reach 120 FPS. Every engine and rendering workload is different. But that's exactly what I'm investigating right now. More games. More freedom. More performance. Not through marketing promises, but through reverse engineering, experimentation and actual testing. SPECIAL THANKS TO @SeregonWar I want to sincerely thank SeregonWar, the developer behind PBS. Without him and his incredible work, I wouldn't have been able to record the attached gameplay video directly from my PS5 without an external capture card. His contribution made this demonstration possible, and he deserves proper recognition. This is what our community is capable of when independent developers share knowledge and build on each other's achievements. THE PATCH WILL BE AVAILABLE TONIGHT. Available for download tonight. This project required countless hours of research, testing and dedication. If you appreciate my work and want to support future patches and investigations, consider leaving a voluntary donation on Ko-fi. SUPPORT MY WORK: ko-fi.com/zzer0dayyy NOW I WANT EVERYONE TO THINK ABOUT THIS. Why should we automatically accept every performance restriction placed on hardware we've already purchased? How many limitations are genuinely unavoidable, and how many deserve to be challenged? Watch the video. Examine the results. Ask questions. Because gaming should be about giving players more possibilities, not simply convincing them to purchase another console. WE DON'T NEED TO ACCEPT EVERY LIMITATION. WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND IT. QUESTION IT. AND WHEN POSSIBLE, BREAK THROUGH IT. Thank you to everyone who has supported my work. This is only the beginning. NOT FOR THE SHAREHOLDERS. NOT FOR THE MARKETING. FOR THE PLAYER. -ZER0

@ContestantGG This is sick. A good way to implement Ai.

@RuneScape I want to give RS3 a 4th attempt but always get stuck not knowing what to do. There’s a lot of content. Should I keep grinding necro because everyone says it’s the best class, or focus on a melee build since I prefer melee over ranged skills? It’s overwhelming.

@faelures_ Unfortunately, yes.

@Cr4zYAiM @ShitpostGate Feels like the good old CS 1.6 Zombie Mod servers.

@RPGHer0 Otra razón más para seguir comprando juegos en Steam y completarlos.

@Warcraft For when the complete SD/HD toggle? Love both, just want visual consistency when choosing a toggle option.

@Pirat_Nation F*ck em

@BellularGaming I feel ashamed of being a long time WoW fan. Just delete Retail and replace it with Forever.

Gears of War: E-Day is a great game, but its obsession with feminism and modern-day politics mars an otherwise great experience. Every 10 minutes there's a reminder about 'female empowerment'. Watch this.
