It is also very weird, and disappointment to see Mary Poppins and The Favourite in the same category...... and why not have A Star is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody in Best Comedy/Musical, since, ya know, they are pretty music centered #GoldenGlobes

Boy Erased is a powerful, and at times corny film, but never the less important. Lucas Hedges is very solid, but the best performance in this film comes from Nicole Kidman. Russel Crowe is tremendously misused. A solid entry, and eye opening into these horrible conversion centers

Burning is literally a slow burning, beautiful work of art. Completely stunning scenes drives this mystery into overdrive along side solid performances. Fantastic pacing, and a stirring plot makes this film one of the year’s best. Not just one of best foreign film, but overall.

Widows might have my favorite shot of the year. McQueen is back in full force with a unique heist film. A great cast, anchored by a powerful performance by Viola Davis, and a short, but important role by Nesson brings this film home. Some open points at the end, but very good.
