The point folks don't get is, you don't reward bad behaviour. When you discontinue a privilege, it is to signify displeasure and to enforce order. That's what is called tough love. No one is exempted. Parents, wife, sibling. No one is exempted.

COVID kept us home for a year, we didn't die. She's a better lady because of what happened. Learn a thing or two about parenting. And fwiw, repeatedly defiantly saying you won't do chores because you're grown is definitely NOT a teenager being a teenager.
