In order to train your mind to be calm in a storm. You have to expose it to storms. Preferably, planned storms and simulations. Not actual storms. Invest in training your people. They are your best defense against the weather. #leadership #training #neuroplasticity

There’s this weird stigma that great writing happens at a desk, that’s freshly cleaned, with sunlight glistening perfectly off of the crystal chandelier in a corner office. To bad this was written in a blanket fort — in my notes app… at 4:41pm… When inspiration strikes. Go.

You can’t consume, and produce at the same time. Overconsumption of data causes analysis paralysis. Overconsumption of content can cause imposter syndrome. Disconnecting from consumption, frees up your consciousness to create. Get bored. #thanksbrain

I don’t understand why I keep hearing people say “viruses evolve to become milder.” That just isn’t how evolution works. Host populations develop heard immunity and select for resistance: this can make average infection more mild. But virus selects only for transmissibility

Not sharing your true voice with the world, leads to resentment. Resentment, over time, makes you cynical. Once you’re cynical of the world, it begins to lose its wonder. Once it loses its wonder, you begin to lose hope. Once you’ve lost hope… it can be a dark scary place.
