Just wanna say to any marginalised folks that its possible to get lecturing post w/o completing your Ph.D. I'm proof of this, if it helps. Just apply for the damn thing. Bc some mediocre white guy who is less talented & interesting than you will apply & be appointed. 🤷🏾‍♀️

The Tate drag was epic, a whole year. I (Black Ph.D student) had a 200 y/o white supremacist institution shook. I was naming &shaming them all, to the extent director of legal & HR emailing me to stop. I only stopped bc friend said, they had enough now.

I knew that Isabel Briggs Myers and her mother Katherine Cooks Briggs, who designed the Myers-Briggs personality test, were eugenicists. I did not know about Isabel's failed career as a racist detective novelist. Ick.
