Crazy #mtm swing today.. Was bullish if opened flat but due to #gapup entered into call ratio spread & booked 1%. In 1st fall took put ratio & booked another 1%.. Premiums were super good at 2pm so took delta neutral #ironfly mtm swings from +72k to -10k to +65k to -12k to 2L😂

#traders use #hedges because it increases margin & gives safety. Below 2 images gives different picture. R/R of 1:1 in 400pts hedges with smaller breakeven range. This happens when the OTM premiums are high too along with ATM strikes. So dont blindly take hedges
