South Africans are unemployed, broke, and struggling every single day while multi-million rand government tenders keep getting handed out to companies run by foreign nationals. Our taxes are given to foreigners????? R71.5 million to Moriel Infrastructure Group. R107.5 million to the same company a few months earlier.
Director: Lawrence Chamurwa Mudzinganyama. Axton Matrix under a Nigerian is also in the mix, bidding and winning. These are not small contracts. This is public money. Our money that we work hard for. Money that is supposed to build roads and create work in a country where millions of us can’t find jobs. You open your mouth about it and immediately get called XENOPHOBIC. They act like you’re inventing the problem. They don’t want to look at the names on the awards. They don’t want to look at how many of these companies are directed by people who were not born here. They just want you to shut up and accept it. We are not imagining this.
We are watching it happen in real time while we sit at home with nothing. This is not about hating foreigners.
This is about a system that keeps locking South Africans in our own country! How long must we pretend we don’t see it?

The “wealthy man” threatening women turns out to be a Zimbabwean, with contracts from SANRAL. We are not angry enough !

Join us this week as we paint the roads pink for Elizabeth ‘Tsontso’ Moselakgomo, our Team Vitality member who was taken from us too soon. Elizabeth was an avid runner and a dedicated member of the Team Vitality community. She showed up for the community through her participation in Vitality events, including the Vitality Run Series, where she recently completed the Wanderers 21 km. Wear your brightest, pinkest fit as we celebrate the spirit of Tsontso: bubbly, vivacious and brimming with energy. Join us on: 📅 Thursday and Saturday at a Team Vitality Zone near you: discovery.co.za/vitality/team-… 📅 Saturday morning at a parkrun near you: parkrun.co.za 🏃‍♀️ Or any other group run happening in your area. If you would like to support Tsontso’s family and contribute towards the long-term financial security of her daughter, you will soon be able to donate your Điscovery Miles through Team Vitality donation campaign. We will share more details in the coming days
