I'm finally joining the 'write every day' crew - it feels especially important as I produce more and more with the help of LLMs to have a practice that is just my own brain. Day 1 is about how it's not just a practice of writing but also vulnerability. blog.alexmiller.net/posts/on-writi… Of course inspiration for this came from watching @AlmostMedia do this every day for six years has been such a good lesson in how we only get better at the things we do regularly. So here it goes

I always pictured the subconscious as something buried deep in the brain that we cannot access. The @doristsao discovery suggests that conscious & subconscious (visual info) may timeshare the same neural circuits. The neurons rapidly switch between the two without us noticing!

Bitcoin apps that 10x the user experience of their traditional finance counterparts are closer than ever. And they could well be coming first to Stacks. x.com/i/article/2111…

𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐧 @Stacks. 🟧 i've been looking through the Q3 ecosystem report, and one thing that caught my attention is how much progress has been made since Bitcoin Staking went live. let's look at some of the numbers 👇 ◽✧⟶ 𝟕𝟑𝟓 𝐁𝐓𝐂 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 Bitcoin Staking brought around 735 BTC into Stacks across its first two bonding periods. the Genesis Bond filled with 230 BTC, then Bonding Period 2 brought in another 505 BTC. ◽✧⟶ 𝟒𝟗𝟑𝐌 $𝐒𝐓𝐗 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐝 after the PoX-5 upgrade unlocked previously staked STX, the amount restaked climbed from 392M to 493M. that's more than 25% growth from the post-fork baseline. ◽✧⟶ 𝐃𝐞𝐅𝐢 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐨 @ZestProtocol crossed $122M in deposits, while weekly DEX volume on Stacks reached a 12-month high of $16.7M. so there's more happening than just Bitcoin entering the network. the applications around it are growing too. and that's the part i'm interested in. if more BTC keeps coming into Stacks, the next question is how much of that capital will find its way into lending, trading and other financial applications. Q4 should give us more to look at, with new bonding periods planned and more integrations on the way. Bitcoin capital markets, with $STX at the core. let's see how far this goes. 👀

Leverage has a structural problem: financing costs and volatility drag can work against holders over longer periods. Increasing exposure is one thing; designing that exposure for long term holding is another. @2FactorFinance is addressing this through Kelly optimized leverage, now live in public beta on @base. Its mechanism separates exposure into senior and junior tranches. The senior tranche receives downside protection, while the leveraged junior tranche takes on greater risk and pays for the leverage. Instead of sourcing leverage through short positions, the protocol uses capital from investors seeking stable yield. Leverage is also sized according to each asset’s volatility rather than applying the same multiple to every asset. Through its work with Coinbase’s tokenized stocks ecosystem, 2Factor is exploring how this approach can extend beyond Bitcoin to equities. I’ve joined the 2Factor Points Program, where participants earn Marks by completing verified actions across social activities, education, and referrals. Season 1 has 1 BTC to be shared among the top 10 leaderboard accounts, paid in cbBTC when the leaderboard freezes at launch. Purchases, deposits, and simply holding assets do not earn Marks. Want to participate? Join the program, complete eligible activities, and get your own referral link. points.2factor.finance/r/t5a1d6wa

@prosperbit @MojoAI_HQ Setting trading conditions in plain language could save time, but stop losses and risk management still matter.
