Just spent a couple hours looking at pictures from my amateur years.... woooooow I miss that

Just spent a little over an hour putting up a friggin curtain rod. I almost cried from frustration at one point, and I called my husband 4 times, but I did it. Ok... that’s what an adulting Friday afternoon looks like for me😂

I’m genuinely excited to start back to school in 3 weeks and be back in the classroom and arena as a teacher for the first time in 5 months, but I’m gonna miss my dog so much 😭

I can’t wait to eat at a restaurant and go to a bar and get my nails done and teach real life people and feel the need to wear make up and not feel like a criminal for needing to go to the grocery store, etc.

Most of the time being a teacher is great. But then finals week rolls around and suddenly they care about all they have not done the entire semester and try to blame it on me 😬
