The purpose will be defeated if Trump isn't sent to prison. The essence of trying a criminal is to deliver the ultimate repercussions and the same should apply to Trump. 'rule of law' will be fulfilled only if he gets sentenced to prison, moreover, Cohen did time for same.

The disqualification of Trump from the presidential election in Colorado is the beginning of the end for Trump. More states are going to follow suit. Trump has no business running for president. He has done what no president has ever done and he will see what none has seen.
