they said everything happens for a reason but I can’t seem to find the reason behind it all
my thoughts keep echoing your name over and over again in my solitude I wonder will you ever come home?
hold my hand pull me out of the darkness can’t you see I’m in hell without your light?
I’m jealous of the sun that gets to touch your skin every day and I don’t
the weight of my mistakes pull me down deep in the ocean drowning in the belief that I’m not deserving of good of peace of love
I keep looking for myself in everywhere I go in everyone I love in everything I do but I know I can only find myself looking inside the problem is that I feel empty
the truth is when you left I felt nothing but the weight of not being the person I wish I were
it is not my fault I didn’t choose to be like this so why does it feel like I am the only one to blame?
there’s a reason why the sun rises every morning I just haven’t grasped it yet
I long to tell you how dear you are to me I long to show you how much meaning you hold to me
wherever I go pain follows damaging all my connections and leaving me all alone
that exact terrifying second when you realize you’re losing someone again and your chest feels like it’s burning and everything loses its meaning
it feels like a burden to carry all these emotions and pretending that it’s not weighing me down
it overwhelms me how most of time things don’t appeal to me at all
I’m warning you you can’t save me but you can sit next to me and look at the stars and the scars they’ve left behind
is my chaos enough to make you give up peace and dance with me alongside my demons?
