Don’t dismiss my feelings, ever. 10. Cheating is a deal-breaker. I will not forgive you for it. 11. Access to phones is important to me. This doesn’t mean I’m interested in going through your phone, but if you suddenly start guarding it around me, I’ll assume you’re hiding something. 12. I don’t want to hear about what your ex did for you. If you keep bringing him or your exes up unnecessarily, I will leave you. 13. I like sex, and I’m considerate. I also understand that I don’t own your body. However, if my sexual needs are consistently neglected, I’ll leave you. 14. Even when you are angry, talk to me softly. We can disagree without being cruel to each other. Don’t raise your voice at me, talk to me like a decent adult. 15. If you need a break from the relationship, please don’t come back. 16. Don’t use a breakup as a threat, a weapon, or a joke whenever we have a minor misunderstanding. If you tell me you want to end the relationship, I will respect your decision, and there will be no coming back from it.

On what frank said, people really need to stop normalizing bad behavior with gender based excuses. Presenting male infidelity as normal while judging women for it is a clear double standard lol. It is toxic double standards being normalized as intelligence. Adultery is adultery. Betrayal is betrayal. If loyalty matters in a relationship, then it should apply to both men and women equally. Men are not wired differently in a way that suddenly removes accountability or morality from their actions. A grown man should be responsible for his choices instead of hiding behind tired narratives that excuse infidelity. And let’s be honest, many men completely lose their minds when they are cheated on because they cannot handle a taste of the same pain they casually expect women to endure silently. That alone exposes the double standard. Women also have every right to leave a marriage or relationship on the grounds of adultery. Nobody is obligated to tolerate repeated disrespect because society keeps telling them 'that’s just how men are'. No, it is how some men choose to behave, and choices have consequences. What even happened to the male morality? Is it that it's only women that should be morally upright? Why not do unto others what you want to be done to you? You know that cheating hurts when it's been done to you, why do it to your partner? Y'all should be more careful with the ideas you push, especially to younger generations. We should be teaching young men discipline, integrity, emotional maturity, and accountability, not giving them excuses for selfish behavior. Everybody needs to do better tbh.

24th January 2022. A day I can never forget. I went to eat at Buka Hut at gbagada, just to treat myself and have a good day. Halfway through, my PERIOD came unexpectedly… and I had no pad, no backup, nothing. I didn’t even know. After eating, I decided to get ice Cream, because why not spoil myself a little more? As I stood up, I noticed people staring… but I didn’t understand why. It wasn’t until I got to the ice cream stand that a guy walked up to me quietly and said: “Excuse me… your backside is stained. Please, take my jacket to cover up.” In that moment, I wanted the ground to open and swallow me. But his kindness… it calmed me. No noise. No embarrassment. Just respect. He gave me his jacket, wrapped it around me, and even offered to order me an Uber home. I insisted on paying, but honestly, I was just grateful someone chose kindness over ridicule. I asked how I’d return his jacket. He smiled and said, “Don’t worry about it.” But I took his number anyway…🥰 Today, that same man is my DARLING HUSBAND.😍 And funny enough, Buka Hut is still our favourite spot till today. ❤️ Sometimes, love doesn’t start with butterflies.🦋 Sometimes, it starts with kindness in your most vulnerable moment.✌🏼💖
