Child Dies of Malnutrition in Gaza The two-and-a-half-month-old infant, Eid Abu Jamea, passed away after suffering from severe malnutrition and chest infections. He had been lying in the corridors of Al-Masr Medical Complex due to overcrowded wards and the lack of space.
Mai Abu Arar, a 7-year-old girl in Gaza, has been suffering from severe malnutrition for the past five months, leading to brain atrophy. Her mother explained that Mai can no longer walk, has poor eyesight, cannot focus, and has lost all her hair.
“Hanaa Al-Owadhi, 15, from Gaza, passed away in an Italian hospital after suffering from fourth-degree brain cancer. She also had cerebral atrophy, which caused her to lose her sight and hearing. Her condition worsened due to delays in receiving treatment.
Marwa Al-Najjar, a 30-year-old mother, was sitting inside her tent holding her 5-month-old baby… when a stray bullet suddenly tore through. It struck her lower jaw, breaking teeth and leaving her unable to eat or speak normally. Her hand was also injured. Today

You see the picture, but I live the reality—hunger, exhaustion, fear, loss, and displacement… yet I keep going. I keep going for the truth, for every voice that has not been heard, for every human being suffering in silence. Resilience is not just a choice… it’s a human duty.
In a tent near Al-Nasr Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, 8-year-old Fatima Abu Mutlaq and 18-month-old Nizar Qudeih lie with painful rashes, infections, and open wounds caused by unbearable heat, polluted water, and infestations of insects and rodents.
Israeli forces fired flares over northern Gaza’s Al-Shati area, forcing families to flee south. Children and women were among the most affected, as panic spread. Humanitarian groups condemned the move as a violation of international law.”
