Humanitarian Appeal The child Juman Al-Najjar (2 years and 9 months old) was injured on 10/8/2025 while playing in the tents, when a shell struck the area. A shrapnel entered her abdomen and exited through her back, causing severe damage to her spleen, liver, and intestines.
Juman Al-Najjar, 2 years and 9 months old, was exposed on August 10, 2025, at noon, while playing in the tents, to shelling in the Khiam area. As a result, she was injured by shrapnel that entered her stomach and exited through her back, penetrating her spleen.
The child, Musa Al-Shaer, is 11 years old. He was injured by a tank shell in the Al-Tina area of Rafah city while he was going to get a kilo of flour for his family, who are suffering from starvation, as there is no one to feed them because his father is traveling abroad.
Journalist Hala sits beside the grave of her fiancé, the martyr Mohammed Salameh, after the occupation stole their joy before it could be fulfilled, leaving behind the pain of loss and dreams killed with him.
With a heavy heart, Hala sits next to Mohammed’s grave, missing him but not finding him. He was a support for her and a bridge through which she could cross to find safety. The occupation killed their joy and separated them before it was complete.
The five journalists killed in an Israeli attack on the Nasser Hospital had documented the relentless destruction of #Gaza. Despite the risks, they continued reporting the impact of the war on Gaza’s people. This is a highlight on some of their work.
Mary has gone to heaven; where there is no more suffering or hardship; tell God, Mary, about the failure and injustice of this nation; about the moments of starvation and fear that we lived together; tell God that we were dying every day; suffering in silence.
