My wine selection on Patriot’s Day, as we we remember the lives lost on 9/11/2001, is this 2022 @waltwines “La Brisa” pinot noir from the Sonoma Coast. This one shows a nose of black cherry, allspice and wet leaves with a palette full of crushed blueberry, sage and cardamom.

On Wine Wednesday I’m pairing up the three by three cheeseburger and fries from @InNOut with a 2013 @RanchoSisquoc merlot. This one displays aromas of black coffee, sage & black cherry with flavors of blackberry, thyme & oregano. This Merlot hits it big with the burger & fries!

I’ll top off tomorrow near the Santa Rosa airport and it will be north of $5. Strange to get it cheaper in a rural area that requires a longer delivery route than in a bustling suburban city much closer to the source.

#TacoTuesday with this 2023 Cedar & Salmon pinot noir from the Willamette Valley. This one shows a nose of raspberry, thyme and cinnamon with a palette full of red plum, sage and cherries. Great pairing with the tacos. Cheers.

The NFL season started this past weekend and it nice to celebrate the @49ers winning their opening game with this 2019 @brooksnotewinery pinot noir from the @PetalumaGap. This displays a nose of blackberry, sage and sandalwood with flavors of black cherry, cola and hibiscus tea.

#SundayFunday with this new release @macrostiewinery pinot noir from Huichica Hills in Carneros. Shows aromas of black cherry, clove and damp earth with a palette full of Black currant, nutmeg and nutty toffee. A beautiful scene with the vineyard in the background. Cheers.
