How to explain the obvious... To new domainers, there's more potential upside in .ai. Yes, you read that right. Hunting for bargain .ai premo domains is going to give you a faster return. Are blue chips still .com? Yes. But not everyone got six figs to invest in the top names. For now the opportunities on a short-mid term are in .ai. If you fail to see that, you're blind.

@domain @NamecheapCEO Separate point: I think because .com has already set the precedent for domain valuations, .ai doesn't even need the same sales data to justify huge sales. The tides are turning and it's anybody guess whether tech start-ups go for .com or another TLD like .ai/.io.

Important point people need to understand that I haven't made (in a while): Higher end .ai sales won't be seen because the best names are in the hands of so few investors. Get used to seeing the sales from the likes of @domain and @NamecheapCEO in the five figure range. The six figure plus (even seven figure) market is real and alive, but the holders of those domains are not sharing the data. That could be an issue. Why it's so important guys like @AmmarKubba do share when something incredible happens.

Question: does an ultra-premium domain become less valuable when in the hands of a domain investor? Psychologically, I think yes. Doesn't get talked about enough this one IMO. When it transfers from a company into an individual's hands, I think it becomes more accessible and in negotiations, there's less respect on the buyer (retail user) side. Would it be smarter to keep it private and give the impression it's still in corporate or anonymous hands?
