Finally rounded up Module 7 of Network Defense and came across previous topics like Input Validation and Integrity Checks, among others in Cloud Security, all of which helped my understanding in much easier ways. I’ve been looking forward to the next module: Cryptography!🤝

I found my way around ZPFs today and was able to configure ZPF on a router, created an ACL that defines the internal network, class-map to inspect internal traffic by referencing the ACL and finally tested successful connectivity! 🙌🏾 Cloud Security ⏭️ #NetworkDefense

I don’t quite understand ZPF operations & configurations yet as I still confuse it with ACL permissions. On another note I’ve been engaging in networking classes with @NetworkQueenX on telegram and the community has been very helpful. My networking skills bout to skyrocket now😁

I started Zone-Based Policy Firewalls overview which explains how ZPFs are used to help secure a network. Threats are something because network security goes broad. Where permissions and policies are configured to help control the workflow of the network. #NetworkDefense
