Every year on Tanabata since 2018, I used to think of Aiko from Punpun, and I'd reread that final chapter before the scene. Nowadays — I dunno. Maybe I'm not as unhappy as I used to be. It felt so real at the time, because feelings are real, but now it just feels like a memory.

I must be the only person in the world who likes the kart racing stages in Sonic Adventure 2. It's kinda jank overall, but it's the only kart game I've played where you actually have to drift with the brake button instead of a dedicated drift button.

"Pre-digested" is a great term. When people talk about e.g. "quality of life" in games, pre-digested often feels closer to what they're trying to convey: "I didn't immediately like this."
