Today I laid Laney down for a nap. I took a 10 min shower, she was asleep by the time I was done. Did a quick pickup/clean of living room & kitchen. Started lunch. Sometimes you just need to get in water to get outta your funk ❤️

I've done alot of yelling at my kids & alot of apologizing. Two/three are sick & the other is a preteen. Running on 5 hrs of sleep for a week is getting the best of me.

& just like that, Dylan & I have become helicopter parents. Hug your babies. Kiss them. Love them. Do things with them. You think they are yours when they are born but little do you know you're just borrowing them. & That's a hard realization.

Officially a mom of a CHILD meaning I'm 1/3 out of the infant & toddler stage. Idk how to feel about it. It's the year of her buckling herself in the carseat by herself, of her starting kindergarten, of her really developing all her memories.... 😩😭 Where did my baby go?!

I'm so overwhelmed this week between the kids & my husband. I decided to start a new business idea just to get some "me" time & it has only make my anxiety worse. 🙃 Why do I do this.

I'm a spoiled stay at home mom so 3 days out of the week I have 7 hours a day to do with what I please.... I spend at least 2 hours procrastinating everything that needs done & then feel rushed & exhausted by 3PM 😌 #WhyAmILikeThis

2020 was the year I mentally struggled with what was best for me. Tbh, 2021 is coming head on w/ the same course of action. It's not a "new year, new me" it's a me just trying to survive with the changes that occurred last year
