Harsh truth: you can't "validate" a start-up with a waitlist. All this does is validate content-market fit. Not product-market fit. Only once people open their wallets is a product truly validated. Sign-ups, traffic, and likes are just vanity metrics.
Every hour spent on "user research" is an hour not testing creative formats. Why hypothesise when you can literally test content and see what works?
If most “founders” put even half as much effort into building their product as they do replying to comments, they’d be rich by now.
