I love when i say things and they become true. I jokingly told my best friend i’d become her nail tech 6 years ago. It happened. I said “I know i want to work with children in the future, just don’t know how yet” I know now. Listen to yourself. Watch your mouth.

The difference between avoidant personalities and highly sensitives is avoidant people have already decided connection and intimacy isn’t their highest priority. Where as highly sensitive love deep connection but are exhausted by it. So just need alone time and space to recover.

we need safe spaces and safe people to CO-regulate with in order to learn emotional regulation for ourselves individually… you can’t teach yourself emotional regulation *by* yourself if it was never taught or modeled to you.
