Raw activity metrics are useless. Want to learn something? Run a competition to see who can hit the monthly quota with the least activities. For ppl stuck with raw metrics: To hit 50 dials, simply call a big corporation's main line and leave a VM for extensions 101, 102, 103...

Is being on time not a norm anymore? I interviewed 5 ppl this week and not one of them was waiting on the zoom by the time I opened it. 2 of them didn't show up until 7+ minutes later. Competitive advantage for job seekers seems to be pretty easy...be on time.

Everyone in cold outreach is talking about personalization and relevance but there’s not enough emphasis on value exchange. You can show you know me, you can say something relevant to me, but if I don’t know what’s in it for me, then you won’t be hearing from me.

There's a lot of opportunity in the small-cap legacy markets for sales teams to adopt modern sales strategies. Gartner pushes the "sense-maker" for forward thinkers but my bet is small-cap legacy companies may take years to adopt these new trends. gtnr.it/2Qz6ObH

Such an easy trap to fall into. X offering applies to industries A, B, & C! Let's target a greater addressable market right? If true, you must also believe X offering won't be better if just tailored to A. From experience, that's never been true when just starting out

Information asymmetry used to plague the buyer. Now it plagues the seller. The buyer has the power today, the sale gets made by the rep that "helps" the buyer make a decision. bit.ly/3wh2zC9

What if the only goal in biz was equivalency of value, not profits. Capitalism touts non-zero-sum outcomes and yes there are plenty of non-zero-sum events but nothing in the profit equation explicitly pursues a non-zero sum outcome. We can do better. #bizops #Futurism

Stumbled across this gem today from @DatabaseDeanne. Use custom logic on process builder criteria to facilitate "does not contain" logic. No more: if contains 1, 2, 3, or 4 logic steps bit.ly/3ubX0mM
