It's sad that this is where we are at, but this is why we need to put equity & protections in our contract, even when they are state law or common decency. (Also, sometimes state law isn't enough to get CPS to handle their SPED responsibilities, but that's another story 🤦🤦🤦)

Oh, there's $0 for a contract? Imagine if a team of staff reps got together 6 months before the contract was up &drafted proposals. Some would need funding but others were free but impactful to their members. If *you* were broke, wouldn't you try to work w/em on the free stuff?

What are we doing here??? Daley appointed Vallas & Duncan. Lori appointed Pedro. Rahm? He appointed JCBrizard, fired him & gave us BByrdB, &when the feds came, he appointed Claypool. And *none* of this was especially protested or blockaded. MBJ was elected! Let him do the job.
