In Closing: CHICKENS do have a profit but it depends on how much profit do you want to see. Your 9 - 5 can't pay you R25k - 30k a month and your business fails to even make you R10k and you think you can quit your 9-5 and focus on the business, that's why I came back to 9-5

Or make sure you have something that gives your a decent salary R15k +. The system got us by the horns as small scale farmers and they are not willing to give us a chance, they got us on the feed prices and feed prices goes up every 2 years.

Strike you and your family. This business is all about the numbers now as a Backyard Farmer you can't even grow 5000 chickens because of space, sometimes not because of space but because of funds... If you still want to come to the business, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR JOB
