one good design practice when trying to write a clean code is to lazily have in mind that 'the other component shall take care of this particular stuff'. This results to a minimally coupled code.

can't deny it. I prefer to consult chatgpt for preparing environments or installing software that I do not have idea before. I tried using Google, keep looping for 3 hours. I asked chat gpt, I found the answer immediately. Now paying for the service.

though very noisy in the process, doing a Ph.D. is probably one of the best decisions I made in my life. All successes I have now depend on it. Would I do it again if I had a chance to restart my 20s? Absolutely.

have some dll library across clusters that don't work when you compile it from the source? Try just copy-pasting it. I spent 2 days just trying to make an ancient library written in C to be compiled in the clusters.
