@Graciefan1234 @chrisisclueless and i also never said that’s specifically how depression is cured. for typical major depression, ur cured thru therapy & meds. but bc depressive eps vary from person to person, you can pull yourself out of it if u have proper life skills.

@discatcookin @chrisisclueless as someone with BP, i typically ‘snap out’ of my depressive eps but it’s more of a subconscious/mental switch that’s just a result of the chemical imbalances. but it also requires coping methods to know how to pull urself out of eps. (not manic ones tho lol)

@kymdkhr @chrisisclueless exactly no one’s saying it’s like a switch. i’ve gotten out of my episodes bc my brain/body could no longer take it before i decided to kms. it’s def easier when there’s people that u know u have to live for tho

@Graciefan1234 @chrisisclueless this is just false. clinical depression is curable unlike other things like PDD or BP depression. other mood disorders require management w no “cure”. clinical depression like MDD is treatable.
