En Chile, las estrellas de mar más comunes son el sol de mar y la estrella de mar común. Habitan toda la costa del país, en la zona intermareal por lo que es mucho más fácil observarlas cuando baja la marea. Si encuentras una, no la saques del mar porque se mueren.
