This is an interesting example of @HPE_Aruba_NETW always-on switching, with always-on POE. Even as a switch reboots, POE power is maintained so that device reboot/recalibrate/resync/etc is not required. This is a UXI sensor during switch firmware update.

This is what decades (at least 30+ years) of cable build-up looks like after removing from a DC prior to refurbishment. This was one of multiple carts (approx 2 cubic metres each) just from these rooms. And yes, you can see thick ethernet in there!
