Students say that they don't want to go home, instead urgent the university to solve it's issues. The police are then sent to evict students who were vacating from the hostels. The threw teargas ati ndio waharakishe. As a result, the students retaliated leading to the chaos.

❗Broke Moi University suspends learning activities. It appears this is a major one even as universities grapple with reduced funding, heightened privatisations and dumbing down of the masses through low quality education such as Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) in Kenya.
