soapie @_sofierro

Hello guys .. I am grateful to every person who checked on me and asked about me during these difficult times in Gaza. I apologize again because I cannot respond to everyone due to the lack of internet. I can barely pick up a signal to turn on Esim.. I want to reassure you that we are alive, but we are not well at all. Everyone is watching and seeing the atrocities we have been experiencing since October 7. We feel like we are in a terrifying nightmare that began on October 7. I hope from the bottom of my heart that we wake up from this nightmare.. Sadness took a lot of feeling from our hearts until our hearts became hard as stones.. The end of sadness is either joy or destruction. No one knows how the end will be.. I have always rescued animals. But now I need someone to save me... I have escaped death several times... and after many months of suffering, I discovered that life is not for everyone... and who knows? Maybe there will be no depression tomorrow, maybe I won't exist tomorrow.. I was hoping someone would save me.. My dear friends.. As you can see in the news reports here in the north, no aid enters... and famine begins to sweep Gaza... I personally lost 15 kg of weight due to malnutrition since October 7. Unfortunately, we are sadly forced to buy from the black market. You can't imagine how difficult that is.. The most important commodity is flour. Its price was $15 for a 25-kilo bag. Now its price has become $400. A kilo of rice was $2.. Now its price is $15.. A kilo of sugar used to be one dollar, now its price is 11 dollars. A liter of oil was $2. Now its price is $7. Canned food, such as beans, peas, and chickpeas, used to cost one dollar. Now it costs 5 dollars. Vegetables such as potatoes, tomatoes, and onions were $1 per kilo. Now they are $7. This is of course after a complex process of searching.... Of course, finding fruits is such an impossible that we have even forgotten their taste I am personally lucky because I have a well in my house.. but there is no electricity to operate the pump to extract water from a depth of 52 meters in the ground.. so I have to rent a generator and buy gasoline from the black market for $15 per liter in order to get water.. I spend a whole day every week extracting water from the well, which is enough for me and my family for a week. Today, I have to pay $100 for water alone... I also feed the cats at the shelter and give them special care. I will never leave them. There are emergency veterinary expenses that I have to pay immediately.. Unfortunately, everything is ridiculously expensive.. I know this is embarrassing, my friends. I feel embarrassed to say this to you. But I am really suffering, my friends. I would be very grateful to receive your pledges and donations at the following link.... paypal.me/animalrescue703 Retweeting is free support and helps spread, and I appreciate that. I appreciate all your sympathy, my friends. Your loving friend Mo from Gaza

Hello guys .. This is the second update.. I was able to find food for the cats with great difficulty. I bought a lot for them even though the prices had doubled. Because of your generous support, I was able to buy extra food for them, enough to last until the beginning of February. I made a hard effort to get to the place that sells cat food.. I went under fire to get there.. I could not find a car to transport all this quantity. I had to transport it using manual carts In this mission, I was exposed to a lot of danger and hardship... but my duty towards those cats made me ignore all the danger... Until now, I have not been able to buy anything additional for me and my family. We have enough until the end of the month. I was unable to obtain any of the humanitarian aid that entered during the truce period, because what entered was not enough to provide all the residents of Gaza I will appreciate your support at the following link to help us withstand and overcome this harsh and difficult period paypal.me/animalrescue703 I appreciate your sympathy and financial and moral support.. and I want to reassure you that my family and I are all fine

Hello guys .. It is the fourth and last day of the agreed upon truce. Tomorrow, the bombing, destruction and terror will return as before. The days of calm passed very quickly. I wish they were as slow as the days of bombing 😔😔 During this period, I was able to partially repair

My dear friends.. We are still suffering from bombing and destruction in Gaza. I want to reassure you that I, my family, and the cats are fine so far. This is an urgent call.. Merchandise in stores is about to run out. Prices have become high due to the scarcity of products. I have enough cat food to last 3 weeks at most. No one knows how long this war will last. I have to buy more and more cat food supplies so that the cats at the shelter don't suffer.. I have to work hard to bring them food. Their safety is my responsibility. I receive your donations at the following link paypal.me/animalrescue703 Any bit that helps any bit is appreciated I am very grateful for your moral and financial support, friends. Having you by my side is what motivates me, guys. Hugs

What a wild and completely unpredictable series of events. Who could’ve known that treating wild animals as pets & conditioning them towards people would make them unreleasable?

This is 26yr old Hossein Mohammadi, enjoying his birthday with his friends. Hossein has been sentenced to death by the Fascist Islamic Republic regime for participating in protests. Be his voice. #HosseinMohammadi #حسین_محمدی

Wisdom, the world’s oldest known wild bird, recently returned to Midway Atoll! The beloved Laysan albatross, or mōlī, is at least 71 years old. Biologists first identified and banded Wisdom in 1956 after she laid an egg, and the large seabirds aren’t known to breed before age 5.

My messy ass will now be watching good morning America

@dklask We have a cat named Joan of Arc in my nursing program. She look like this

I recognize @joelsartore is a world renowned wildlife photographer but this is an extremely disturbed tarsier. Hyperventilation, agitated movements, shaking, and likely sensory overload with the amount of light focused on it in an unfamiliar environment. It’s sad to see this…

Photographer Joel Sartore captured this footage of a Horsfield’s tarsier at Taman Safari in Indonesia. It's a carnivorous, nocturnal species of tarsier living in Borneo and Sumatra [read more: buff.ly/30Ts8yg] [source: buff.ly/3EvElXW]
