People really expect their babies to sleep through the night when adults don’t even do that. Why are expectations so high for babies/toddlers to sleep all night??

My son is 4 years old and still rear facing. And I’m not saying everyone should do that, but I am saying there is no excuse for a one year old to be forward facing

Idk who needs to hear this but the "cry it out" method for sleep training babies is not effective. Cortisol levels (stress) in the baby don't decrease even after it stops crying at night. Babies don't learn to "sleep through the night" they learn that they are on their own.

Can we normalize no longer sending frikkin thank you cards?! All you need to say is thank you in person, phone, even message...you don’t need to write a whole paragraph of word vomit on a card and send it.
