Frontend Dev | React + TypeScript | Learning the MERN Stack step by step | Sharing my journey & open to remote full-time/internship opportunitiessumit-jha.vercel.app Mumbai Joined May 2024
I feel the real edge in today's tech world is,
It's not knowing every syntax or API by heart.
It's Building a mindset that thrives on learning, adapting and innovating.
Instead of asking which language should I learn, ask which problem should I solve.
What's your thoughts on it?
Day 13 of building DevTinder š
ā Integrated state management (React state + Context API)
ā Smooth handling of user interactions
ā Dynamic rendering of content for better UX
State management = backbone of scalable apps
Day 12 of building DevTinder š¤
ā Worked on DevTinder UI (part 2)
ā Learnt Redux Toolkit by building (userSlice + appStore)
ā Connected Login form with backend
ā Strengthened JS by solving: intersection & union of arrays + rotate array by k steps
The hardest part of growth?
It looks like nothingās happening.
No praise. No offer. No results.
But deep down ā
Youāre becoming the kind of person success canāt ignore.
Keep showing up. Thatās the whole game.
Day 11 of building DevTinder š¤
Started the Frontend journey:
šSet up React project structure
šCreated first components
šBuilt basic layout & component hierarchy
š Also practicing JS daily ā finished basics & intermediate problems (anagrams, sorting, recursion & more).
Day 9 of building DevTinder š¤
Todayās focus: mastering relationships in MongoDB with Mongoose š
Learned ref + populate to link collections
Designed APIs to handle relational data
Focused on scalability & clean code āØ
ref & populate make APIs powerful, maintainable & fast.
Day 8 of building DevTinder š¤
Back after a short break ā today I learned:
Writing logical queries with $and, $or, $not
Creating & using compound indexes for performance ā”
Revised React basics āļø
Biggest win: Writing faster, scalable queries in MongoDB š
kabhi kabhi mere dil mein khayal aata haiā¦
ki degree ke baad seedha job mil jaayegi,
par reality mein toh DSA ke sawaal aur
ā2 saal ka experienceā wali entry-level openings milti hain š
kabhi lagta hai ek aur framework seekh loon, par asli skill toh
Biggest issue in both code and life? Debugging never really ends! š¤·āāļø
The only differenceāwhen your code crashes, you get an error message. When life crashes⦠just pure silence š āļø #MorningThoughts
Life these days is like: morning = motivation, afternoon = utter confusion, night = full-blown depression š
Only one thingās crystal clearāIām laughing and crying at the same time like a bugged-out clown š¤”šš
Iām still figuring things out while applying for jobs and moving from frontend ā fullstack.
And honestly, Iāve realized something along the wayš
Itās never just about writing code.
Itās more about asking the right questions, staying curious, and sharing what I learn as I go.
Been spending time with the React docs from few months, and hereās whatās actually helped me learn better š
š Treat docs like a map, not a book
š Ask āwhy does this exist?ā before āhow do I use it?ā
š Donāt just skimācode out the examples yourself
