Scary that in a year's time generative model will be so good that AI media is indistinguishable from real image/video. Everything you see is likely AI. Slop becomes the norm. On the upside it might finally get people to put down their phones and enjoy the moment.

Day 7 - building a waifu voice chat app 📖 Locked in learning to write a model pipeline in Modular MAX so I can implement Qwen3-Omni with end-to-end streaming. The Modular stack is still really new and undocumented so hit a few roadblocks, but I am pushing through 💪

PRO TIP: Use FastAPI instead of Django to get first class async support. Your CRUD app is 100% IO bound so a non-async framework will be blocked waiting for DB calls. If it takes 100ms per query then you max out at 10rps. Your 10th user will have atrocious latency.
