and the older I get, the more I realize that someone actually making time for you is one of the clearest signs they care about you. We're all busy, everyone has responsibilities and you are either a priority or not.

Sometimes I look at how much I've survived and instead of feeling proud, I just feel sad that I had to become this strong. I know I'm resilient. I know I made it through. But there are days when I don't want to celebrate my ability to endure anymore. I just want a life where I don't constantly have to prove that I can.
My 20s definitely taught me there's no point in doubling back on anything. No friendship, not a relationship, not a Job. Once it has ran it's course, move accordingly. It's your job to take the lesson, add it to character, and move on.
fun fact about me: if you ever write me a letter or leave me a little note, I’ll probably keep it for the rest of my life. I’m ridiculously sentimental like that small words mean more to me than people realize.
