@leftunsents exactly. sometimes trauma doesn’t make you stronger, it makes you more afraid of getting hurt again. some people aren’t cold because they healed, they’re just tired of feeling everything so deeply. healing isn’t always becoming tougher, sometimes it’s learning to feel safe again.
